How Do I Use The Law of Attraction?

The key idea to grasp for the Law of Attraction is that “Like Attracts Like.” In other words what you fix your attention on, what you feel passionate about and what you do will always attract the like result which will come about in your life in time.

The more focused and cohesive your thoughts, feelings and actions the more deliberate and more quickly your results will manifest themselves into your present reality.

Seek to understand that everything you see, feel and touch, taste, eat and drink and everything you use in your work and your play began in someone’s mind as an idea.  Every idea that comes to you or you uncover and every thought you have is made up of electrons; called in the LOA world energy or vibrations.  Things may feel solid all around you but they are really just energy or vibrations or electrons and protons packed tightly together in order to manifest that “solid” object that you thought about or desired to create.

Now you may sometimes have a direct role to play in  that energy being made visible, like the carpenter creating the desk or cabinet, but they all still began in the vibrating universe as energy or :particles of possibility” as I like to call them.

Let’s get back to our title, “How Do I Use The Law of Attraction?”

Three things need to happen in cohesion for your to successfully attract what you want, desire or need. This is where most people fail.

(1) You must first think about what you want, (create a clear mental picture or post a photo on your bulletin board) of what you want. Then you think and and think and think about it all the time. Rinse and repeat.

(2) Second you have to feel it in your soul. What will it feel like when you have this thing you are thinking about?  Feel yourself and imagine yourself owning, having, possessing and enjoying that thing in your mind.

(3) Third you must now act like it is yours. Live your life as if you already own it, have it, possess it. I call this “Imaginative Ownership.”  You live like this thing is truly yours by saying, even out loud “I am enjoying my new________.”

Was you remember that like attracts like, you know that if you think about and feel and act like you “Don’t want” this or that thing you are then dwelling and feeling that negative thing and then the universe, God, creator will seek to bring that like (negative) thing back to you, since you are spending so much time fixated on it. The universe does not attach a moral judgement to the stuff of life it just creates and brings like to like.

I like what Ghandi said,

““Keep your thoughts positive, because your thoughts become your words.
Keep your words positive, because your words become your behaviours.
Keep your behaviours positive, because your behaviours become your habits.
Keep your habits positive, because your habits become your values.
Keep your values positive, because your values become your destiny.” ~Gandhi

Joe Vitale explains well why our feelings about our lives must be positive, “It’s really important that you feel good. Because this feeling good is what goes out as a signal into the universe and starts to attract more of itself to you. So the more you can feel good, the more you will attract the things that help you feel good and that will keep bringing you up higher and higher.” ~ Joe Vitale
